This is the bliss page. The moments caught on a bride's special day as she participates in the beginning of the rest of her life of love.
I don't know why I shudder when I think of ever calling myself a wedding photographer. It sounds so cheesy, when actually it is the hardest of all types of shooting. Such pressure--from the bride, from the wedding planner-- from the mother. Yikes. Plus it is such a produced EVENT that you have no way of controlling anything: the time, the bride, the wedding planner...the MOTHER. You have to run around carrying a ton of lenses and equipment, keeping a sharp eye out for "the moments" and you get precious little time to execute any of it. Even with an assistant or two it is hugely taxing... and now in the digital age afterwards it is way too much fun to play with all the images....imagine color correcting and manipulating favorites out of a batch of thousands.... and trying to get them online for the bride to see in a timely fashion. That's why I tend to be very proud of some of my captured moments.
