A phone call, jump on a plane, and land somewhere in the good old U.S. or even abroad to shoot commercials and stills of people having fun. That ain't so bad.

Wild Horses. A Film Company Dallas, along with Turnstile, Inc. and Vertigo Post -all Texans-- are the masterminds of coaster shooting. Hartley Johnson is Producer.

Director Mark Underkofler and DP Allan Westbrook are acquisition geniuses. Tiny cameras and tech-y mounts, rigs, gyros, remotes...whew. See "Coasters" page for how they do it.
Shooting coasters is a "scream"!
Kenneywood Park, Pittsburgh This one is called "The Scream", and it's always a scream to shoot at theme parks. You know the admonition: "Don't ever shoot animals or children, and don't shoot in theme parks..." Well, we've ignored all that. We're always shooting the most difficult new rides, with the most innovative cameras... and we throw in a kid or two.
These last few years have been a roller coaster...

The new winged coaster X-Floght at Six Flags Great America outside Chicago.
No kidding. Six Flags continues to roll out new thrill rides and sets the bar in plunges, g-force, and one that even accelerates BACKWARDS up to a high point...then DROPS you back down. Not that I get on them, mind you.
